Someone stating that it takes anything which can reasonably be called math skills has no fucking clue about what math is. Having met and been around players considered to be worldclass, it is clear that they iq-wise are doing ok, but they are nowhere near people doing excellent scientific work in eg. medicine, math, physics or pshycology.

Any person with slightly more than a medium intellect can become a world class player (and not just of the self-proclaimed type) if they have the desire.
