thanks michael.i used various scanners(5). used after the fact though.uninstalling the program helped.my concern was luckily noticing the harddrive activation and gnubg.exe(2 outgoing!) was accessing the web,much to my surprise on the fifteenth,big crash/locked out of pc on the seventeenth..graphics/startup/shutdown/etc...all affected.even restoring pc from disc,has not cured all my problems.
