In Response To: A Taste of what ABT Stats Could Be (Stick)

Along this line things are progressing for the ABTS, (American Backgammon Tour Stats), of which I am the coordinator... There were some delays contacting the site director... Not coincidentally the same site that Stick hyperlinks here, and I have the support and help of the TD and Justin Nunez who compiled the Gammon Asoociates Stats for the last couple of years. They have graciously volunteered to help me get acquainted with the process of data entry. I have also received various offers of well wishers to enter data voluntarily and limit my own personal burden... I appreciate all that support, thank you.

As I understand it, it will be a labor intensive task, and as yet I am waiting for Mike Darooge to tweak the settings so I may begin entering data. The end result will be probably a mirror image of the Gammon Associates Statistics.

So for those of you wondering, I am working on it... It IS a work in progress...

Preliminary findings are that there will NOT be a very high percentage of players with an over .500 MWP. A very few will be at or above about .700, which goes beyond the theoretical common sense limit I rather randomly assign, which is .667.

Stand by...
