Not so friendly reminder for TDs next year

We agree again. Vote on the issue; inform the tournament directors of the results of the vote and request they consider the wishes of the players; get the director's response; inform everyone of the outcome of the vote and response; and let the players decide for themselves what they want to do.
I MIGHT decide to boycott an event that did not allow clocks if requested, or baffle boxes if requested, or other things requested, depending on the reasons given by the tournament director and possible extenuating circumstances, but I do not want to be "forced" to boycott or peer-pressured to do so. So I do not advocate that everyone who votes promised to do anything except express their opinion and allow their vote to be counted and reported.
The issues I would like to see voted on:
1. clock required if either party wants it or the tournament director wants it;
2. baffle box or roller required if either party wants it and if the tournament director approves of the device as being fair and reasonable to use;
3. matches on computers so long as both players agree, the pip count is turned off, there is no looking at evaluations or decisions until after the match, and it in no way holds up the tournament or eliminates the use of clocks
4. any player has the right to tape or record a match so long as it does not hold up the match or cause problems in playing the match, provided he is willing to send a copy of the match to his opponent if requested (Open and Masters division only, as taping can be intimidating others but should not be to an Open player.)
