I pay attn. to other's chat, but honestly not many ppl (aside from myself) chat much. I type like a coke fiend so it's probably easier for me and I rarely play more than 2 tables, also leaving me plenty of free time to tell people of the various ways I wouldn't mind seeing them die. Those who do bark though are genearally whiners. You rarely get any barking (aside from myself of course) at the higher stakes [50/100 & up] but at small stakes everyone chirps like a ccrackhead. They're all on their last dollar and don't uwhy they're so "unlucky" and it pisses them off.
I personally use it hoping people put me on tilt ... though I doubt I ever go on tilt anymore. I take a bad beat, or 2, or 3, I am definitely chatting it up hoping that I get a real hand sometime soon and everyone calls my 'auto raises' thinking I'm mucking off money when really I have the best of it. I also don't mind people 'aiming' for me. I usually realize it, and use it to my advantage when ppl are 'out to get me'. I say a lot of shit....and the ppl who get pissed off about it I have notes upon notes on so next time I see them I can poke & prod and remind them how good they should be playing against me ;)
