My personal list is my previous and current mentors and teachers:
Oswold Jacoby first taught me to play and gave me the basics Kit Woolsey...first lessons I ever paid for, and well worth it Sly (Joe Sylvester) lived with me for 9 months and doubled my skill level Howard Ring...gave me many valuable lessons Jake...hit me over the head a lot! Nack & Meyerburg...both taught me much on line Malcolm, Nazarian, O'Hagan, Hickey, Kazaross, Mayfield, Sax have offered me great insights in response to my position emails. Wells, Zavoral and Meunch all helped me immensely with my money game. Rockwell has taught me much about how to improve my game Perry has been a true mentor and teacher...he's taught me how to teach.
We all owe a lot to Tom Keith, Bill Davis, Carol Cole, Stick, and the folks at Gammon Village for keeping us updated.
We all owe a lot to Magriel, Robertie, Trice, Heinrich, Nack, Weaver, Jake, and others who have written great books.
Most of all I have to say that I owe a lot to my wife, Randee, who taught me how to keep backgammon in perspective and never take it too seriously.
If I forgot anyone along the way, I apologize!
