Another Issue for Tournament Directors

Stick, ALL of your arguments are valid. In spite of that, after having played matches at tournaments (mostly in weekly tournaments) for the past 5 years, I have found that most of those issues come up rarely and there are safeguards. I have missclicked and we were able to restart from the postion, but now I have safeguards for missclicking.
In spite of all of your points, which again are valid, I still believe that if both players prefer to play on the computer there is no good reason not to allow them to do so, because for me, and for the people I have played who enjoy it (many local players, and many who have agreed to do it at major tournaments, in consolation and last chance and special events as most tournament directors do not allow us to in the main event), we find it much more enjoyable.
I have played CoolRay, for example, several matches at major tournaments and we both enjoyed knowing that we could see the evaluation. Spectators enjoyed watching our match, and enjoyed watching the discussions after the match. For me, because of Ray's comments on several plays after the match, it was an excellent learning experience as well as fun.
So again, the argument that we have "less stress" playing on a computer is silly...I think it is much more stress to know that every mistake you might make will be recorded; that more people will be watching your match; and that everyone will see how poorly or how well I play. Certainly, the stress factor is at least debatable.
The point is, if both players agree, and it adds to their enjoyment of the game, their learning experience, and it increases interest in the match in that it is projected for many to watch, why not simply allow it?
(To another point, I have started matches on computers and found the player was uncomfortable, and we switched to a board....a player should have that right whenever he wants.)
As for the dice being fair and honest...I am sure that can be an issue....but it would be pretty easy to see if a person is making a horrible play that works because he rolled the only roll that worked, or he takes a bad cube in a race and then rolls 5 doubles. It's the same way to catch a crooked player with live rolling.
