I don't think we need Phil to remind us here that these are yet more ambiguities/lapses in the rules that should all be codified.

In my opinion, you reroll both dice if one is cocked as with any other two dice roll to the same side of the board. And you write down your color on the scoresheet so that there is evidence in case of dispute or memory lapse.

The same situations apply for the sealed dice tube. In that case, it must be done as I suggest above because the dice are inseparable and you can't roll one without the other. And one player must invert the tube on behalf of both for the opening roll. (Yes Jason, we must figure out who if anyone cares, or we can simply say that it is always done by the player with the homeboard on the right side or something)
