Between minor version changes, it is not necessary to reinstall the whole intall archive (25Mb): you could just download the zipped exes (2Mb) and slam them in the installation dir. However, given that downloading 25mb is not that long and settings are preserved, reinstalling everything is OK too.

SSE2 is a particular instruction set some processors support. SSE2 allows gnubg tu run much faster in comparion to non-SSE2 gnubg. However, SSE2 gnubg will crash on non-SSE2 CPUs.

To see if your CPU supports SSE2, use CPUz (http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php): in the firs tpanel (CPU) there's aline called instructions. It will say sometingn like "MMX, SSE, SSE2" ...

If your CPU is not 5-6 yrs old, it supports SSE2.
