I can think of a few reasons why you might want to do your own opening rollouts.

(1) Practice using Gnu, setting the position and parameters. Then you can check if you've done it right by comparing the results.

(2) Rollout different candidates or different match scores.

(3) Try rollouts with a different bot and see how big the difference is.

(4) Check Stick's results!
