Clocks + Random Dice Generator ?

I am completely in agreement to use such a dice generator. I would play all my matches on Extreme, Snowie, or GNU and would gladly accept the dice that are rolled there, so why not some other device. I even have a dice roller that I downloaded on my iPhone.
The problem with this idea is obvious: we can't even get people to give up the idea of rolling the dice on to the board but putting them into a baffle box...even though there are clear advantages of doing so and few downsides. People resist change; they are creatures of habit; and they will certainly resist anything that is very different, arguing that it takes away from the pleasure of the game. They are comfortable with rolling as they have for years and will not accept anything new without a fight, simply because it is new.
There are MANY ways we can provide the numbers in ways that COMPLETELY eliminate the possibility of cheating, or faulty rolling (accidently or intentional), and to people like you and me THAT IS SOMETHING THAT WOULD ADD GREATLY TO OUR ENJOYMENT OF THE GAME. But it will be a long time before you could get people to agree to a dice generator.
The main reason I am arguing for baffle boxes is because it is a small change from standard rolling that solves a lot of the problems and concerns that many of us are bothered by. If I could get people to agree, I would surely go to the enclose dice roller, or an electronic generator such as you describe.
