My first thought with these is to hit twice. My next thought is that White has Blue outboarded 4:1 and it leaves 5 blots, so even if he reenters without hitting Blue's in bad shape. So that's out. I think hitting is a must here, which leaves the normal-looking return shot play of B/23 18/16* 6/4(2) and the uber-weenie play of B/23 18/16*(2) 8/6. I'd rather make the uber-weenie hitting play than make the 4 point without hitting. I count 16 shots after making the 4 point, which is small enough for me to go for it. Blue can still get return shots or anchor up if he gets hit. Of course, he can also get gammoned.
