Gregg: even though you think the gnashing of teeth about cheaters is silly, why not accept the fact that many of us, silly or not, are concerned. Since there are known cases of people cheating; since we can be reasonably sure that if some people have been caught, there probably are others that have not been caught and we have no way of knowing how many cheaters there might be out there; and since there are people who are concerned enough about this to either be reluctant to play or very worried about this when they do play (silly or not to be that way); why not accept some small changes, like baffle boxes, to add some safeguards that will make us silly people feel better and come to more tournaments? The cost or discomfort to you is little or nothing...so you have to roll into the box instead of on to a table? So what? If someone told me that my wearing a pink hat to tournaments would increase participation in tournament and make more people happy, I'd wear a pink hat. Okay...so you don't like baffle boxes, or rollers, or dice generators. Okay, so you think it is silly. But many others don't feel the way you feel and it really is hurting their enjoyment of the game and actually keeping some people from going to tournaments...so why not make a little adjustment for "their" benefit?

And by the way, again, I want the adjustment (baffle boxes) not just because of cheaters, but for all the other reasons already stated well by Joe Russell, myself and others. Why not let us have that if it makes us more comfortable, even if you think we're silly to feel the way we feel?
