For the first 100 positions from your former 626 I am comparing GNU normal default 4 ply vs 0 ply cube and play trucated at 6 1296 game rollouts. The rollout is often somewhat faster and seems about as accurate.

Many times there's a clear result from the rollout in 200 or 300 games. I suspect that a 324 game rollout would be almost as good as the 1296 and 4 times as fast... ie fast enough to give players a quick evaluation as they step thru matches evaluated in 2 ply, even if using "typical" computers.

So please also check 324 game 0/0 truncated at 6 rollouts with GNU. This won't take much more time since you'll set that to be GNU's default rollout setting and just do it when you're done with the ply evals.
