Hi Neil

When doing similar experiments on some of the Depreli positions in gnu with your truncated rollout settings I found you could get an even quicker mini rollouts done if you used the enable stop on jsd feature.

I was quite surprised that even setting the *minimum* trials at 36! (still use 324 for maximum) gnu mini r/o regularly found the best play whereas 2-ply botched it.

JSD levels are as follows:

95% confidence 1.96
98% confidence 2.33
99% confidence 2.58

By using this feature it might be possible to say get a stronger result by having it truncate at 8 with no overall speed loss.
