DMP 51

Tricky. Which play wins more games? By running i'm adding 61 and 21 to the list of great numbers. Double 1 is good anyway, but now becomes crushing. However, no gammons to worry about. If white rolls a 31 he will be left with an interesting choice. Is hitting right? Probably not, but it may be right to just bank on the racing lead and hope for picks and passes that leave fewer shots later or just clearing the point with a double. Nevertheless, by running I may cause my opponent to make a mistake and I preserve an outside racing chance.
Every six still leaves a shot (except 61) and by running I now add double 6 as a blotting number for white. Also, I can now play three 6s if I happen to roll a double 6 if white doesn't break the outfield anchor on the next turn (if he rolls 52 for example).
Those would be my OTB thoughts. 20/15 2/1
