A major weakness in my checker play, that I've noticed over the past couple of years and have worked hard to improve is that one harrassing the opp with blot(s)!! So here, we really should strongly consider whether we want to remain on the 18 pt. If we stay, 55 and 66 and 65 and 54 all leave direct shots and 51 will leave a direct or play terribly awkwardly. We have a deep in 5 prime and builders to soon make a 6 prime and any hit we get is a HUGE turnaround.

We will lose some more G's by staying, but we'll win considerably more games. It is so important to play to win at normal gammon cost scores when we have full cube use ! Noting that sometimes we can enter on the 2 pt or 5 pt and be a nuisance and once in a while we can joker hit from the roof, I suspect it is a Whopper to move off the 18 pt.

So my 5 is the clear 8/3 and then I have a small pref for 12/10 which considering no 2 lets us bear on the 2 pt nor slot the 8, is likely a bit better diverisfied than 11/9 from my studies of similar things.

8/3 12/10 for me. ..praying that some wimpy play with 18/13 doesn't win.
