Right or wrong, I would have recubed this too, particularly if I'm sitting in the bottom half of a Chouette rotation. There is too big a chance that white will see all of those blots and panic at the thought of losing 8 points.

This MUST be a correct double from center, particularly with Jacoby in effect.
