Well done Rob. I am sure you will run a smooth and enjoyable tournament. Feel free to steal anything useful that you might find from my post.

Just so the morality police are reassured - any such copying of my design is ok with me in advance.

But be advised that if I come to your event I could be a liability in terms of weather and the like. I have 4 tournament travel horror stories from over the years and all of them involve Pittsburgh. I am the wrong guy to go to for luck surrounding this event.

1. Drove back in a 33 inch blizzard one year. Some nice passers-by helped us push our car back onto the highway. 13 hours.

2. Blew the head gasket on my car, got towed, managed to get picked up and driven to meet another friend going to the tourney. Bought a new car the next week.

3. Blew the head gasket on my other car the next year (not the new one), got towed, and had to rent a car and then discover all the interstates were closed and no signs; only chaos. Actually navigated by the sun at one point. 14 hours. $2500 repair bill.

4. Last year finally said enough and decided to fly only to find out the day before that my ticket was booked for Thursday the 19th as it should be, but March instead of February (oops), and that the value of my existing ticket towards a new one was a negative number. Ate the ticket and drove.

But I'll be there. Somehow.
