Cube play against a weaker Opponent

On a similar note, if you are sitting across the board from one of the top players in the world, do you play any differently than you would if you were sitting across the board from someone who is a very fine Open Player, but not a Giant? And are any of your cube decisions or checker plays any different from those you would make against a bot vs. one of those players?
