OTB I wanted to take, but 24#'s cover and I really don't think that my 3 pt is quite sufficient compensation for the opp's 18 pt anchor. With the opp having her 5 pt, I can sometimes get blocked in after I hit on the ace pt, giving her more game plans than just closing me out. This just didn't look like a take even from a technical standpoint noting that even at this score, I should be taking a borderline money cube.
As this match has no effect on this ZCS bracket standings I was just playing basically for ER and not for skill factor, however, the skill factor differential made certain that I didn't reverse my decision to pass.
Surprisingly, both XG and GNU dinged me for passing. GNU 2 ply says .962 take, 3 ply occilated to a 1.067 pass (as usual) and 4 ply went down to a .936 take. The direction of change between 2 and 4 ply doesn't bode well for my belief that this is a pass.
XG 3 ply says I have a .975 take while 4 ply (there can be slight occilation) says a 1.007 drop and XGRoller says a .923 take. That's a big change for XGR..and if it is wrong as I suspect here, it may be due to 1 ply checker play as in general most bots initial ply don't play the builders optimally in blitzes.
I have a long XG rollout upstairs and will post soon when I return to my office. I still think me pass was correct.
