In Response To: A somewhat awkward 54 from the bar..XGR and GNU don't agree (neilkaz)

OTB I thought a bit here. Bar/16 looked like an invitation to be attacked and by a weaker play who likes to attack so that was out. 13/8 looked nice and pure but gives up the outfield and is hit too often. I went with the awkward 8/3 since White needs to do lots of things soon.. ie clean up the outfield blots and split the back checkers.
XG 3 ply and GNU 2 ply both preferred to hop out bar/16 but XGR reversed that and preferred my choice by .030, but GNU 4 ply still liked bar/16 by .023.
As we see from the rollouts this is a close choice. And no bot or rollout likes 13/8.
