Thanks for the remarks, Phil...

I agree quite a bit... while I know I was lucky, there are facets of my game that are starting to come together. As an example, I've been studying 2nd rolls, and I had quite a few of them that I know I got right that I might not have a year ago -- and then noted when some of my opponents didn't.

One thing that I definitely felt all weekend was a great sense of confidence... from the first match all the way to the end. Not so much confidence in my decision making, but that I knew I was competitive with anybody in the room and was a threat to be taken seriously by anybody.

I will say that I'm quite disappointed with a colossal whopper I made in the finals which ruined what could have been a pretty tidy error rate (for me). We'll see later how I fared against my other Sunday opponents. I'll just have to make that a learning experience.
