Well, I was going to make the diagram today for the vote and Chase's site was down (at least to me), so I first decided on my move, voted, and loaded up the bot to make the diagram. I couldn't resist hitting the hint button so I am 100% aware of what you are talking about. And I agree with you 100%. Maybe this will be the first time a write-in wins at GOL but I also have serious doubts it is all on the up-and-up. I voted for the running-to-the-midpoint play, by the way...the hint results were so bizarre to me I had to roll it out -- it's about 1/2 done after 8 1/2 hours....

This is at least a very instructive position to me and probably to several others, along the lines of this one posted on this site a couple of days ago -- which I also rolled out and played out several times to try to deepen my understanding. My simple reasoning gets a workout from positions like this.

IMHO, writing in bot choices goes against the whole idea of both GOL and BGOnline and if all a person can do to pump their ego is to post bot opinions, well...there's something wrong with all of that and maybe could make an interesting episode of the DR Phil show....
