If we ran 24/18 8/6, then

(a) White would blot with 6-5 and 5-4 only

(b) White would reward us with POH-itude with 5-5, 5-3, 5-2, 3-2, 2-2, 1-1, and (optional) 3-3

(c) White would have Pick'npassitatitude with 5-1, 3-1 and 2-1.

So I don't see that running wins more games or even saves more gammons. So I play 8/2 4/2.
