Attack? Come Down? Come out?

It seems that there is little urgency to advancing the defensive position or running out as white is stacked and has few rolls that accomplish anything threatening in the forward position. White's immediate objectives is really to either make the 21 point, move the checker on the 21 point up to the 17 point, or unstack the 8 point. Running out leaves white free to do any of those, and also to hit (and adds 1 as an unstacking number). Attacking largely denies white the ability to achieve these goals, as even the unstacking option has duplication of 2s and 3s as entering numbers. The major risk is getting hit on the 4 point. Obviously if missed, it is a very large gain. Attacking is not as strong (or as mandatory) as usual due to the white anchor on the 17 point.
On balance, I see enough benefits from the attack and few enough from the run that I slightly prefer attacking.
