Any reason to roll out multiple-of-36 games?

Gnu and BGB provide regular distribited numbers for the first 1 (36) or two (1296) rolls. The motivation is to reduce variation.

Naturally you can use 21 if you weigh this rollouts twice as much. But what do you win?
