(B) Anything near it? If I said "a GG-like score," would you still object?

(C) Trivia aside, I'm going to disappoint you anyway. The usage "pure GG" has been around for a long time; why do you suppose that is? Conceptually, the one-way gammons are more important than the exact gammon price. I would argue that this is also the case practically, for most opening and middlegame positions.
