Yes, larger doubles are usually easier than double 2's. One can find many tricky double 2's. This is a very tricky double 6's. Connectivity and the best position for a prime vs. prime board dictates 22/16(3) 16/10. I would not be surprised if making the 4 was a significant error. Admittedly a very appetizing error.
