Your choice is well thought out, but I don't think it gains enough to allow White several nice rolls.

The concept of TMP can be missapplied. I'll play the simple 24/20, 9 pt, and lift. Next roll I'll break one of my anchors, and hopefully they've caused White to play uncomfortably for a roll.
