Factors for Tournament Attendance (2)

Who says there can't be two point systems that run in parallel in ABT tournaments? The current system that recognizes only cashing, and a new system that recognizes cashing, wins and attendance. There is nearly 20 years of ABT history. I know that any suggestion that the existing stats be radically changed in nature will face resistance, because there has been resistance at far smaller changes. But how can anyone argue with a parallel system if people are collecting the results, entering them and tabulating points? Seems like a no-brainer. It does not have the controversy like publishing W/L records, but it could certainly drive off all the data being collected for that effort by Ray and team. A point system just needs to be well defined and then implemented. I think two parallel point systems would help the ABT, not hurt it.

Does anyone know what point system the WSOB is using?
