WBA has a Masterpoint system.

The match length of each round you win in the Open Division is the number of points you score. Every win counts, every format can be applied, regardless of the size of the tournament field. For example, you win 3 rounds of 13 points in the main, then you lose and win 2 rounds of 9 points in the conso, then you lose and win 3 rounds of 5 points in the last chance, you score: (3 x 13) + (2 x 9) + (3 x 5) = 72 points.

Very simple, very transparent, easy to apply, easy to understand.
