If White makes a second point, he's got a decent game. If he doesn't, he ends up in Gammon City with 7 checkers on the acepoint. If Blue waits, many numbers make a point and hit; if White fails to point immediately, Blue's lost his market. I would double now. And take; White has made his own five point, so some games White can play forward looking, and there are too many ways to get a 1-3 1-4 or 1-5 game which I think ought to be playable to consider passing.
