Here is the two cents from someone who is a direct competitor to WSOB....

I partly agree with Phil. Anyone doing something good for this game should be rewarded and not punished.

For the sake of backgammon, we should cut this mess off that has been going on around WSOB, regardless of money issues, changes, schedules, draws and other topics.

PGT disppeared from the scene. Was it good for backgammon? I donīt think so.

WSOB may stay or disappear, I donīt know. Should it vanish, is it good for backgammon? Again, I donīt think so.

Should WBA stop its activites one day, also due to bitching and whining coming from players, then I donīt see much left for offline competition with class and big money involved.

My advise at this point: Let it go and be patient. If you agree with WSOB, support it. If youīre not on the same path, just donīt participate. But in any case, donīt throw additional fuel in the fire...
