always second best

Major things of note about the position:
- The race. Almost regardless of the position this is something you should constantly think about. Here even after the roll you are down a couple of pips. (and no longer on roll)
- Your opponent's position. The main factor here and something that should always register is when your opponent has two or more blots in his home board. This points to a bold play if no 'standard' play is available.
- Your position. Since we've tossed breaking the anchor out the window (behind in the race) and we aren't going to play off the midpoint leaving a double shot for no real gain and breaking the contact we need, we're basically left with only a couple/few plays. While I had my play within' a nanosecond before expressing all the reasoning it helps to break it down. The plays we're now left with are: 11/5 6/5, 11/9 11/5, 8/6 8/2. I immediately reject 11/9 11/5, if I'm going to leave a blot it's best to slot the next home board point I want to make. Between the safe no blot play and the slot it up play again I see my opponent's home board and my stripped position, what will I play next turn if I play the safe and stodgy 8/6 8/2? It's clear to me that everything points to 11/5 6/4.
