Like I said, you are out of control.
Clearly you have no regard for anyone but your cronies and those you are easily manipulated by.
You have paid scant regard to any of my concerns raised about the spreading of lies by a trouble-making few, some of whom work anonymously.
Even my family is concerned and worried about what has become a disgusting situation now compelling to "get out of the game".
This forum has allowed the blatant lie telling by Mario Sequiera, Iancho Hristiov and others:
I have vigorously denied the fact I used prize money to pay the Palm Beach Casino telling you I actually paid for this with my personal cash, after the event (which I have not recouped from investments to date!)
I have told you I am extremely concerned about being described as “dishonest” or “bad” yet you ignore my requests or subsequent demands to remove them.
There is a huge amount of misinformation on your forum spread by very few.
Like the idea I have been abandoned (I split from a former business partner, so what) or the satellites are a failure (I have been upfront about the initial investment yet they have made money four weeks on the spin).
You are not remotely concerned with this though, sending me patronising emails saying “I will do you a favor of ignoring this entire email. If you really want me to take it seriously let me know and I will”.
To just give you a chance to work this out for yourself, I shared confidential information with you about WSOB and the fact this forum could be damaging its commercial chances. You ignore this and publish your speculative bs that the shootout is “probably not going to happen”. Excuse me where do you get your information? Having lost one partner already because of lies, I have decided not to continue discussions with new investors with a view to season IV, deciding to "wait and see" how it goes during the conclusion to this season. Thank you for your contribution.
I published a statement about why there was a delay and that we had underestimated what it would it take to fill €90k worth of seats.
Instead, you tell everyone you have “emails from those you trust, with negatives about WSOB”. Really? Well I really doubt that old chap. As many players are aware, WSOB has been subject to an act of sabotage which has jeopardised the future of this business. Almost everyone is aware of this and where it’s coming from.
Yet I have battled on, without the support of a huge corporate partner, believing WSOB would flourish as an independent business with a variety of share-holders.
Yet apparently this makes the business unpalatable to some. Despite the fact, I have created and run every aspect of WSOB from creating the tour, developing and producing all the television shows, writing the business plan that has attracted approaching €2m investment and employed 100s of staff and sponsorship and of course bringing Gus Hansen back into the game.
Indeed, commercial partners, who may have been making substantial investments in backgammon have withdrawn because of a negative feeling about backgammon and WSOB drawn from research into the game over recent months. Why would anyone actively seek to undermine a new business?
In Prague, you were supposedly hired to write ‘live’ blogs yet you delivered none and wonder why I didn’t want your contribution in London. I tried to let you down gently. All I know is you spent time chatting online with yur buddies with your mates slagging off the event!! I thought it was an extraordinary event; highly innovative, world class.
In Cannes you eventually wrote some blogs, but post event.
Now you go public with you disdain for me. Thanks.
What some players seem to forget and I point to those spreading the disease here and elsewhere which is killing the game is, 2008 with now defunct PGT and WSOB was likely a gold interlude unlikely to return after the machinations of this year. I hope you enjoyed it.
I certainly will not be taking this forum seriously in future nor posting on it.
Andy
