Recube action

OTB I am sure I would have just taken a roll, but on closer inspection it looks like a recube may be justified.

Blue has some immediate good rolls (66,55,32,52,53,62,61) and most other numbers don't play terribly. Blue won't have a lot of trouble bringing this home (Blue's outfield point is not in direct contact with white's anchor) and will perhaps leave a few indirect shots. Even if hit white may not have his strong board anymore at that stage, as some of white's numbers force him to break his board or leave his anchor immediately(53,52,32,33,43,65). There may be more numbers depending on whether blue makes his bar next turn. Even if white escapes his back man, blue has good outfield coverage and will be able to hit back most of the time.

Can white take? The race is relatively close. Also, blue may not have an efficient bearoff structure (some gaps and awkward stacks) if he doesn't roll well, which will give white an even better chance in the race. Although white will have to get that back checker to escape asap to maintain his racing equity. IMO White can take due to race/shot equity and powerful recube.
