Stein = I also agree with Phil's points that cheating aside, playing music while playing can be taken as a sign of disrespect.

I do not take it as disrespectful if my opponent wishes to listen to music while playing. To each their own. What I do mind, and stated in this thread, is when I have to repeat myself over and over if something needs to be said.

I see poker players wear head phones and nothing is ever brought up about it. Is that disrespectful too? Has there been a case(s) where cheating has been contested? (wondering outloud and asking no one in particular)

Speaking for me only, IMHO, I cannot worry about someone cheating with the use of headphones. If I am fortunate enough to be playing in the finals of a championship it will not matter if I am playing the best human or the super duper bot. My responsibility is to make what I feel is my best play with each roll of the dice and then let the chips fall whereever they land.
