World's best (say, top 10) human players: between 2 and 3, but closer to 3, IMO

Bah...surely you jest. The only reason the top humans play 'so poorly' is they're playing human opponents and the optimal decision to win is sometimes far from the optimal decision for their error rate. Even minor decisions early in the game to steer it one way,like slotting opening rolls, get dinged over .02 (or more AtS) and can have a brutal effect on your ER esp. if it's that low to begin with. Do you contend that if these top human players played only GNU or SW on their highest plies they wouldn't average closer to (or gasp, under) 2?
