1. A good argument can be made that ELO is a better measure of skill than ER, as ER rewards for forced plays;

"ELO" as mentioned in eXtreme gammon has nothing to do with real ELO. Similarly real ELO has nothing to do with any kind of bot.

GNU ER does not reward for forced plays.

Suppose in one match one player played an ER of 3 and another player played an ER of 5. How big of a favorite was the stronger player?
