I think it is too good at this gammon-goish type score. The gammon price with a centered cube is around 18/25, considerably higher than the normal 1/2. You'll have a playon if you point of course but also if you hit loose and have the oppt dance with one or both checkers without hitting back. When things go a little less than average for your side, you'll frequently have a double in anyway.
