Is music allowed while playing?

Having Carter recommend "good sportsmanship above all" is like hearing Mike Tyson tell us to be gentle with women.
Never have I heard anyone berate someone loudly for a bad play than Carter. He has called more of my bad rolls than anyone in the history of backgammon. He has laughed hysterically as he gammoned me. He has rooted loudly for my opponent to roll doubles...and I'm not talking in a chouette, I'm talking at a major tournament (because he had a small bet against me)! Carter, who says to his partner, "Are you fucking crazy?" if he wants to make a reasonable move or settlement. Carter, the loudest, most obnoxious, crudest, and most inappropriate player in the history of chouettes telling us that we should put "good sportsmanship" first!!!!
Carter to me is living proof that good sportsmanship is not always fun. Thank goodness we have people like Carter that add so much fun to the game!
I think the rule should be: "Good sportsmanship first, unless you can do it in a fun way that adds to the fun and excitement of the game, like Carter!"
PS: Thanks to Carter we have had to institute a new rule in our local chouette: we call it the "Non-Insulting" Rule.
