One does enjoy a high degree of sportsmanship in Danish tournaments. And in the Danish discussion forum, where the first rule is "We discuss issues, not persons.... Go after the ball, not the man." Actually, the first-written DBGF Rule 1.1 is almost identical to ABT Rule 1.1. This:

The directors and players are expected, in accordance with the spirit of the game, to show a high degree of courteous and considerate behaviour.

is DBgF Rule 1.2.3.1. The Japanese Backgammon League has a similar rule -- JBL Rule 1.1.4.3 -- which says something about backgammon tournaments being a social occasion and players being expected to treat each other with mutual respect.
