Pay now or pay later: is a hit now pretty much gin? Yes.

Will I leave more shots now or later? Definitely more shots later.

How will my/White's position look when I leave those shots? Well, White has plenty of time, so the only thing that can happen is either my position stays the same or I crack my 6 or 4 point. Great alternatives.

Paying now with 13/9 13/8 seems totally clear to me in spite of the fact that I might roll a jokerish set over the next roll or two.
