In Response To: What Colour is the Wind - #3 (Stick)

All the indicators are for pay now with 2 down.

Clearing a point (8, 6???) seems wrong, as you cannot outtime white here without some significant timing help. Of the two pay now plays, 13/4 seems wrong as you are surrendering too many shots (17), and two down leaves only 12. Also, when missed, since the cube is turned, you get lots of opportunities to smack white around a bit if he stays (as he mostly should).

13/8,13/9. If this book is advocating any other play, I would be surprised, and probably annoyed too.
