This position is in the new ChicagoPoint newsletter compliments of Bill Davis.

However, it is, IMHO, interesting and instructive.

Several kibbitzers questioned my move, or at least opined I should have thought about it more.

I thought it straightforward and played it rather quickly. Rather than splitting, I played 13-7.

To no avail, I didn't get a shot and three 2-1's doomed me to getting gammoned for the match.
