The reason for the interest in clocks by myself and Neil is that Brent had some serious time problems in the Michigan Masters final against me and in several Michigan doubles matches while playing with Neil.

Upon reviewing the video record of our match, Brent's problem was not speed of play -- it was his fidgeting, routine, and incessant shaking of the dice before rolling. He was often into the reserve before he ever rolled.

In a 700+ move (combined) match an extra 2 seconds per roll, on average, is easily in excess of ten minutes of clock time.

Sounds as though he has corrected those problems.

UBK tries to end up with less than 10 seconds so he must have been playing fairly efficiently ... lol.
