Gammon Phobia strikes again!! The key things to notice are that it is only 20 shots, two blots haven't been hit yet, and very importantly White's 3 pt may not be closed for a while. Off course you may leave a repeat shot here, but noting that even if both checkers get closed out, you're only G'd about half the time, none of this should lead you to pass quickly without doing the analysis MCG refers to.
