Old story - Cribbage

Somehting similar was found in the game of cribbage. There was a study done regarding online Cribbage deals and the apparent increase in the value of an average hand. It was originally figured by cribbage players that the randome number generator and shuffling were at fault.
The end result of the study was that the average hand online was higher (statisticallly signifcant difference) in value than what you'd see in real life. The conclusion "humans don't shuffle/randomize the deck enough" went against prevailing thoughts of most crib players.
