I think you want White on the bar against a four-point board rather than a three-point board. Blue has a lot of back men to escape, and the best chance of this is to keep White on the bar.

If White dances this roll then there is the opportunity to scoop up the other blots and escape.

If Blue brings two down from the midpoint then White should enter fairly easily, and be in control of the outfield that Blue must traverse.
